(You can take a look at my gallery to see what I mean by “custom thumbnails”)

1.) Choose the size of thumbnail you’d like to use. I chose 2″ x 1.75″ but you can make them whatever size you want.

2.) Make thumbnail images that size for each of your drawings/artworks with whichever image editing program you like to use and save them with your full sized images.

3.) Make a text document and copy this text:

(your image title here)

into your document as many times as you have images you want to make a thumbnail in your gallery for.

4.) Replace the “(your image title here)” texts with the titles of each of your images.

4.) Go to ImageShack.us (For this I strongly advise joining so you can keep track of your images and find them again if you loose any of the addresses) and host your first thumbnail image.

5.) Once you have done that, Image Shack will give 5 addresses, highlight the last address, titled “Direct link to image” and copy it.

6.) Go to your text document and highlight “thumbnail.jpg” in the code under the correct image title and replace it with the image address you just got from ImageShack.

7.) Go back to image shack, host your first full size image, Image Shack will give you 8 web addresses, highlight the last, titled “Direct link to image” and copy it

8.) Go back to your text document, highlight “image.jpg” in the code under the correct image title and replace it with the image address you just got from ImageShack.

9.) Host all your images and fill in all the rest of your “thumbnail.jpg” and “image.jpg” spots.

10.) One at a time, copy and paste your completed “” codes into your gallery thread. Only type one space between each string of code, DO NOT start a new paragraph between each one.

11.) Once you have your gallery how you want it, post it. When you do, you may notice that a scroll bar has appeared on the side of your gallery. To get rid of that, take note of where each line of thumbnails ends, then go to edit your gallery again and start a new paragraph in those spots only. Post it again, when you do, the scroll bar will be gone.

2.) Once you have done that, ImageShack will give you 8 web addresses, highlight the 3rd, titled “Thumbnail for forums (1)” and copy it.

3.) Paste the address into a text document, then upload the rest of your images and paste their addresses in the same document, save the document when done.
